UPDATE! :--DDD My tablet and Gimp became friends after I succesfully uninstalled tablet's old drivers and found new ones! (I had to search for them for a while since my tablet is really old [8 years, infact]) So everything's fiiiine now. Gosh, I'm so happy!
I've been trying to make my tablet and Gimp 2.8 to cooperate. Mission failed.
Everything was fine and dandy with 2.6 version of Gimp, but, oh lawd, when I updated the damn program things are neither fine nor dandy anymore. Gimp doesn't recognize my tablet as input device and this causes problems with pressure opacity (or this is what I presume), and by "problems" I mean that the pressure opacity feature doesn't exist even though the program claims so straight to my frustrated face.
And yeah, I've been reading through countless forum threads about this issue (at least I'm not alone), but I have not found the right answer yet. I'm not the savviest of geeks, so might be I've done goofed something and that's the reason nothing works, but the bottom line is that
I've been having so many problems with programs I use to paint and draw lately. So many. I'm starting to believe this is either
a) some kind of sign from the 'verse to just stop
b) a trial to test the amount of my goddamn determination.
Welp, this ain't over yet. Imma make that program work, or it cries and works.
Though the odds are that it's me who's crying in the end
Anyway! Have a super nice day, You! And thanks for reading.
